Samsung F480 GSM (Uses SIM) Unlocked Cellphone with Touch Screen

With the F480, Samsung enters into the touchscreen arena with striking results. Here is a model that is slimmer than most phones at 11.5mm wide which is a very nice size for a touchscreen centered phone. To keep things simplified there are only three buttons on the face which are the call, end, and confirm. Above those is the large 2.8-inch display which portrays colors at a brilliant 262k colors.

To access the functions of the phone, there are conveniently placed slots on the side of the phone. The USB, MicroSD, and camera key are found on the left and right sides of the phone.

The obvious draw of this phone is its easy to use UI. The main screen is bright and colorful with widgets immediately available that allow you access to different menus with the flick of a finger. The widget bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to pick and choose which widget you wish to bring back to the main screen so you aren’t dealing with a cluttered menu. The music player widget is very easy to use and allows you to filter by artist, genre, or album to speed up the music choosing process.

The F480 has an amazing 5 Megapixel with color levels and noise levels that are pretty low. Web browsing on the F480 is a snap to use as the volume rocker on the side mimics the scroll wheel on the mouse which lets you view pages with great ease. Or if you prefer a more hands on approach you can use your finger to scroll through screens.
